VELUX Top-Hung Emergency Escape Roof Window

The VELUX GPL emergency escape roof window combines the dual function of a top-hung roof window with a means of emergency escape/access.  It provides the ideal combination of optimum daylight and efficient ventilation, creating a pleasing internal environment, while providing a quick and easy exit/entrance from the room.

The GPL can be installed in all roofing materials in roof pitches between 15° and 55°, or up to 75° with special springs.

Opening is assisted by powerful yet gentle springs. The window opens to any angle up to 45°.

The control bar at the top of the window controls the ventilation flap as well as operating the centre-pivot function. This allows full rotation of the sash for cleaning of the pane.
