Speedbond PU Adhesive A9900
A single part moisture curing polyurethane structural adhesive. It has been specifically formulated for bonding insulation to a variety of roof decks.
Adhesive Application
The roof deck should be dry and free from grease and other contaminants. The spouted container should be opened and the adhesive applied in the form of 5mm beads. The amount of adhesive applied depends upon the type of roof deck with more adhesive to be applied a round the perimeter of the roof and to porous decks.
The insulation bonds should be positioned over the adhesive within 10 – 15 minutes depending upon atmospheric conditions. Please ensure the beads of adhesive transfer from the deck to the boards to ensure satisfactory adhesion.
Once applied the adhesive will foam rapidly and cures to form a durable tough bond.
Speedbond adhesive can be used to bond the following insulation boards:
- Expanded polystyrene
- Extruded polystyrene
- Polyurethane
to the following decks:
- Steel
- Plywood
- Concrete
- Felt
