Hunton Sarket
Product Description
Hunton Sarket is an 18mm tongued and grooved bitumen impregnated fibreboard developed from sustainable waste timber, designed for use as a combined sarking and breather membrane.
Sarket is used for cladding roofs where insulation and air tightness are priorities.
- Sarket is suitable for all types of pitched roof constructions where the slates, tiles or other roof covering are installed onto counter battens
- The tongue and groove profile edges, which extend to all four sides of the board, facilitate mid-span joining
- This interlocking capability also minimises wastage, since full length boards can be laid without having to ensue joints are lined up with the bearing surfaces of the structure
- Sarket delivers a demonstrably better thermal performance than traditional roof felt products
- Sarket provides efficient, permanent wind bracing for low rise applications
- The boards have demonstrated water tightness with pressures of 500 N/m²
- The material is lightweight and easy to handle
