Monarfol 300

Product Description

Monarfol 300 is a reinforced polyethylene roofing underlay, used in pitched roofs to reduce wind load on slates and tiles and to provide a secondary watershedding layer against wind-driven rain or snow. It is intended for use as an unsupported underlay and should be installed as recommended in BS 5534:Pt 1. Monarfol 300 should be draped over rafters to ensure a drainage gap under the tile battens, allowing any water to run down to the gutter. Monarfol 300 is compaitble with all commonly used roof coverings, making it suitable for an extensive range of new build and refurbished projects. Monarfol 300 is waterproof and rotproof and is ideal for low-pitched roofs. With its strong, flexiable composition Monarfol 300 offers numerous advantages over bituminous felts; it is lighter and easier to install, quicker and cleaner to work with, more resistant to damage during and after installation and has a far greater life expectancy. Because of its great tensile strength and tear resistance Monarfol 300 is ideal for roofs where rafter spacing is greater than 600mm.
