Manthorpe Through Wall / Under Floor Ventilation

Product Description

Modern construction practices have created thermally efficient buildings which require the installation of through wall ventilation products to prevent problems caused by condensation. Similarly, the increased use of suspended floors replacing the traditional concrete foundation has meant that the requirement to provide sufficient ventilation to the voids below floor level has also become paramount. Building regulation and NHBC guidelines state that a gap between the ground and the underside of the floor should be provided to prevent the build up and passage of condensation and contamination air and that this void should be adequately ventilated.

The Combination Airbrick G930/1/2/3 6600mm² Single Airflow: The Manthorpe 9” x 3” airbrick has been designed to provide high levels of ventilation into cavity walls and underfloor voids. The brick features an insect grille at the front together with a water deflector. A clip together facility provides a choice of ventilation sizes

The Telescopic Underfloor Void Ventilator G960 6600mm² Airflow: This product has been designed and manufactured to provide underfloor ventilation for suspended concrete and timber floors. The telescopic capability enables size adjustments of between three and five brick courses

The Vertical Extension sleeve G961 7000mm² Airflow: The sleeve has been designed and manufactured for use with the Manthorpe telescopic under-floor ventilator. It enables adjustment of a further two brick courses vertically. The G961 can also be fitted to the base of the G960 to provide horizontal extension

Remote Void Ventilator G962 8800mm² Airflow: The remote void adaptor ensures ventilation of remote voids that are difficult to access with the standard underfloor void unit. The adaptor fits directly onto the G930 airbrick or telescopic underfloor ventilator G960 and will accept a four inch round pipe to direct the passage of air.

Cavity Sleeve G935 6600mm Airflow: The G935 is supplied as a single unit to clip into the back of the 9” x 3” airbrick to ventilate through a standard cavity or solid brick wall. The unit can be stacked, to create a 9”x 6” and a 9” x 9” alternative

Weep/Vent – Sleeve G950 2200mm² Airflow: Manthorpes G950 weep vent is designed to be used to meet NHBC guidance notes which states ‘ Weep holes are recommended to be sited every 450mm maximum with at least two per opening above all windows and doors. The product can also be used to ventilate cavities and drain cavity tray systems.

Peep Weep Concealed Weep G951: Manthorpe’s G950 weep vent is designed to be used to meet NHBC guidance notes which states ‘ Weep holes are recommended to be sited every 450mm maximum with at least two per opening above all windows and doors’ The G951 Peep Weep provides an unobtrusive through wall drainage system with just a single point outlet in the brick fascia.

Lintel Stop – End Product code G955: Fitted in line with NHBC and BS8215 recommendations, Manthorpe lintel stop-ends along with the G950 Weep Vent or G951 provide an economic solution to damp prevention in the cavity below lintels.
