DECKfon CHIP and MDF shallow composite floor systems consist of a layer of low resonance open cell, flexible polyurethane foam bonded to the underside of a moisture resistant t&g flooring board. Each type has been tested to enable compliance with Part E to reduce sound transmission through structural timber floors.
