Product Description
Reduc Micro 17 17mm thick acoustic overlay flooring product suitable for use on new and existing timber and concrete floors.
Designed to damp vibration and attenuate both airborne sound and impact noise passing through floors with minimal loss in room height.
They comprise substrate layers of moisture-resistant MDF and fibreboard separated by visco-elastic sound damping strips. The underside incorporates a resilient layer of acoustic felt, which provides mechanical isolation from the existing floor structure.
Compliance with the Building Regulations
When installed over an existing timber floor with SoundSlab between the joists, it complies with conversion requirements of the Building Regulations. It can exceed new build and conversion standards when used in conjunction with SoundBreaker Bars to de-couple the ceiling below.
