Product Description
Reduc Strata Extra 35mm thick high performance acoustic overlay flooring product suitable for use on new and existing timber and concrete floors.
Designed to damp vibration and attenuate both airborne sound and impact noise passing through floors.
The upper layer of moisture-resistant MDF is isolated from a layer of dense cement particle board by visco-elastic sound damping strips. The underside incorporates a resilient layer of acoustic felt, which provides mechanical isolation from the existing floor structure.
Compliance with the Building Regulations
When installed over an existing concrete or timber floor with SoundSlab between the joists Reduc Strata Extra exceeds new and conversion requirements of the Building Regulations. Acoustic performance can be further enhanced with SoundBreaker Bars to de-couple the ceiling below.
