SoundFloor 28 & SoundFloor 32
8mm and 32mm thick structural and overlay acoustic flooring products suitable for laying directly onto existing timber and concrete floors. They may also be fitted as part of a cradle and batten system on concrete floors where there is a requirement for a service void.
Designed to damp vibration and attenuate airborne sound and impact noise passing through floors.
They comprise an upper face of moisture-resistant, tongue and grooved chipboard with an acoustic felt on the underside.
Compliance with the Building Regulations
When fitted over existing timber floors or installed as a structural floor with SoundSlab between the joists and SoundBreaker Bars to de-couple the ceiling below they exceed new build and conversion standards of the Building Regulations
