Description
Acoustic Floor Roll is a resilient, glass mineral wool roll faced on one side with a kraft paper/polythene laminate. Its facing has a 75mm overlap along one edge to lap the edge of the adjoining roll.
Application
Acoustic Floor Roll is used for improving the impact sound resistance of separating floors, specifically Type 2 separating floors in Approved Document E. The kraft paper/polythene laminate should face uppermost when Acoustic Floor Roll forms a resilient layer below a screed.
Acoustic
Acoustic Floor Roll provides excellent impact sound resistance when used as a resilient layer in a separating floor.
Fire
The glass mineral wool content of Acoustic Floor Roll is classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN ISO 13501-1.
