Product Description

GTEC dB board
A heavy duty wallboard for superior acoustic performance. It has a dense high purity gypsum core between two high quality paper liners. The blue, tapered face is suitable for seamless jointing. The grey or blue face can be used for the application of gypsum plasters.

Authority
GTEC dB board complies with BS 1230 : Part 1 : 1985 for Type 1 gypsum wallboard.

Weight
Board weights are:
12.5mm thickness 10.2 to 10.7 kg/m²
15.0mm thickness 12.5 to 13.1 kg/m².

Fire Protection
GTEC dB board has been shown through testing to be capable of providing an excellent degree of fire resistance, varying with the application and number of layers used.

Thermal Properties
Thermal conductivity () is 0.24 W/mK.
Thermal resistance (R) values are:
12.5mm thickness 0.052 m²K/W
15.0mm thickness 0.063 m²K/W.

Sound insulation
GTEC dB board has been shown through testing to be capable of providing an exceptional degree of sound insulation when combined with the use of mineral wool. The sound insulation will vary with the application and number of layers used.
