Description
Universal Slabs are a range of semi-rigid to rigid, non-combustible, glass mineral wool slabs.

Application
Universal Slabs are general purpose slabs for thermal and acoustic insulation, and are used in a wide range of applications.

Standards
Universal Slabs are non-combustible glass mineral wool, defined as mineral wool in BS 3533: 1981 and are manufactured in accordance with BSI Quality Assurance Standard BS EN ISO 9001: 2000, and Product Standard EN 13162.

Durability
Universal Slabs are rot proof, do not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria, they are odourless and non-hygroscopic.

Thermal
Universal Slabs come in a range of thermal conductivities from 0.032 to 0.035 W/mK.

Fire
Universal Slabs are classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN ISO 13501-1.

Acoustics
Universal Slabs have excellent sound absorption characteristics.
