Wondertex Cement & Tapes

Product Description

Specially developed as an extra smooth joint cement, Wondertex Ultralight covers up to 20% more than traditional joint cement material. Ultralight is suitable for hand and machine jointing.

A continuous, thin band of Wondertex Ultralight joint filler is applied to the trough of the tapered edge joints. Centre jointing tape over the joint, removing any air bubbles to ensure good adhesion. 90 minutes after the tape has been fixed, apply a layer of Ultralight joint cement over the tape, flush with the surface of the plasterboard and allow to dry. Apply a second coat over the joint approximately 180 - 250mm wide and allow to dry. Finish with an application 250 - 300mm wide, applied to the edges, and feathered out with a damp sponge. Sand down using 120 grade sand paper.

Wondertex Ultralight drywall joint filler is a Class B gypsum – based 90 minute - 120 minute setting compound. Used for the bedding and filling of tapers, external metal angles and corner tapes. For hand application only.

Wondertex Ultralight joint filler is applied to the trough of the tapered edge joints. Centre jointing tape over the joint, removing any air bubbles to ensure good adhesion. Immediately after the tape has been fixed apply a new layer of joint filler over the tape flush with the surface of the plasterboard before the joint filler begins to stiffen. After 90 - 120 minutes a finishing application should be applied to obtain complete elimination of the tape edges, and feathered out with a damp sponge. Finish with a coat of joint cement 250-300mm wide, when dry sand down with 120 grade sand paper

White Jointers Tape
White Jointers Tape is a white perforated tape for reinforcing plaster board joints, and also recommended for use by texturers when taping ceiling joints. Wondertex White Jointers Tape is suitable for both hand and mechanical application.

Metal Angle Tape
Metal Angle Tape is used to give a strong, straight, neat edge to the external angles of a dry lined property.

Self Adhesive Tape
Self Adhesive Tape is used on flat wall joints before texturing or finishing. Not suitable for machine application.
