A wallboard for use with the Homespan metal partition system. Composition, face colours and finishings as for Standard board.

Authority
GTEC Acoustic Homespan board complies with BS 1230 : Part 1: 1985 for Type 1 gypsum wallboard.

Board weight is 12.5 to 12.9 kg/m².

Fire Protection
GTEC Acoustic Homespan board has been shown through testing to be capable of providing an excellent degree of fire resistance, varying with the application and number of layers used.

Thermal Properties
Thermal conductivity () is 0.20 W/mK.
Thermal resistance (R) value is: 15.0mm thickness 0.075 m²K/W.

Sound insulation
A Homespan partition constructed with Homespan studs and wallboard has been shown through testing to be capable of providing a sound insulation of 38 RwdB without the use of mineral wool.

GTEC Acoustic Homespan MR board
A wallboard that combines the qualities of Homespan board and Moisture board. The gypsum plaster core is wax/silicone treated during manufacture.
