Product Description

GTEC Moisture board
A wallboard for use in bathrooms, kitchens, domestic garages and other applications that require resistance to the effects of moisture and humidity. The gypsum plaster core is wax treated to repell water but remain permeable to water vapour allowing the underlying structure to breathe, and is an ideal base for ceramic tiling. It is not suitable for areas of continuous wetting or high humidity conditions such as in swimming pools. The green dyed liner boards aid identification, and may be taped and jointed conventionally.

GTEC Moisture board complies with BS 1230 : Part 1 : 1985 for Types 3 and 4 gypsum wallboard.

Weight
Board weight is 9.8 to 10.3 kg/m².

Fire protection
GTEC Moisture board has similar properties to Lafarge Standard wallboard.

Thermal conductivity () is 0.24 W/mK.
Thermal resistance (R) value is 0.052m² K/W.
