Product Description
GTEC Standard board and plank
A general purpose wallboard used for internal walls, ceilings and partitions, in both domestic and commercial premises. It has a high purity gypsum core between two high quality paper liners. The ivory face is suitable for taping and jointing. The ivory face can also be used for direct gypsum plaster applications. Available with a tapered edge or square edge.

GTEC Standard board complies with BS 1230 : Part 1 : 1985 for Type 1 gypsum wallboard.
Weights
Board weights are:
9.5mm thickness 6.3 to 7.1 kg/m²
12.5mm thickness 8.4 to 9.3 kg/m²
15.0mm thickness 10.2 to 11.2 kg/m²
19.0mm thickness (plank) 13.6 to 14.0 kg/m².
Fire Protection
GTEC Standard board has been shown through testing to be capable of providing an excellent degree of fire resistance, varying with the application and number of layers used.

Thermal conductivity (

9.5mm thickness 0.059 mm²K/W
12.5mm thickness 0.078 mm²K/W
15.0mm thickness 0.093 mm²K/W
19.0mm thickness 0.118 mm²K/W
Sound insulation
GTEC Standard board has been shown through testing to be capable of providing an exceptional degree of sound insulation when combined with the use of mineral wool. The sound insulation will vary with the application and number of layers used.
